Grassroot Edu for Sustainable Development

GESD for Schools

But first, what is ESD? ...

"ESD" is an acronym for "Education for Sustainable Development." It is an approach to learning, introduced by UNESCO, to provide students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary to contribute to a more sustainable future. The Grassroot Edu for Sustainable Development programme focuses on students in government schools, free schools and marginalized communities across Africa, equipping them with leadership skills, as well as knowledge of sustainability issues and solutions.
