Curricula for African Communities
Our curricula are being adopted by schools! In Lagos, we have trained teachers on ESD practices, created native educational materials for their students and designed hands-on projects that align with the SDGs for each class. To widen our impact across the continent, we are currently leveraging partnerships with more academic institutions to integrate Education for Sustainable Development into the school systems. Our curricula have also been broken into sizeable learning content, delivered through the “Grassroot Edu for Sustainable Development programme” which focuses on public secondary school students in marginalized communities in Africa. Through the GESD, we equip the students with leadership skills, as well as knowledge of sustainability issues and solutions. This supports them in becoming responsible citizens, who are capable of making informed decisions and taking action to create a more sustainable future. Want to partner with us? Click here.
